Northanger Abbey is one of my favourites! I like Catherine Moreland. Her straight forward acceptance of people is delightful.
I'd like to see it done like a sit.com. Surely a good director could get everyone squirming in their seats with embarrasment when Henry catches Catharine snooping through his mother's appartments. And I'm sure the tension could be built up suitably before Catherine finds the laundry bill.
