Has anyone ever read Fay Weldon's "Letters to Alice"? She writes these letters to her (I think fictional) niece who is reading Austen for the first time. The letters are full of her appreciation of Jane Austen and have some insight. I found it interesting...
AND... Geez, you walk away for a week and you finish the book...Wow, you guys are fast... I've been reading over the comments everyone has made in the last week and have really enjoyed them!
