I allowed an extra week for NA discussion.
The kinds of things we might talk about...
How does the book hang together as a whole?
How well does it fit in with the rest of the Austen canon?
Is it clearly not as good as what are seen as the great works?
and I'm sure you'll think up a few others.
One thing which I think is interesting is that is wasn't published until after JAs death and came out some time around the same time as Persuasion. They are two very different books, clearly written at different points in JA's life... how might the reading public have reacted?
