the more he saw of her honesty and sweetness the more he saw what a wonderful Clergyman's wife she would make!!
Honest and sweet, yes, but such a "sad shatter-brained creature" - she does not even perform up to the standards of her indulgent and casual mother... and we know she has no taste for serious reading.
I'm just a little afraid that ten years down the line, Henry Tilney might have had thoughts somewhat resembling those of Mr Bennet.
But by all means let us not say so, let us assume that when our authoress assures us we are hastening toward "perfect felicity," she knows whereof she speaks.
