JA's apology in NA

Remember at the beginning of Northanger Abbey the "Advertisement by the authoress" where JA basically apologizes for the book being thirteen years out of date?
What would she think now that nearly 200 years later we are going out of our way to try to understand the "period, places, manners, books, and opinions [which] have undergone considerable changes" so we can appreciate her work even more!?!
