If NA were done as Clueless....

Okay three messages in a row, but

Here is a question I have been pondering.....

If someone somewhere were to do a Clueless adaptation of NA, what would be the situation??

What genre would fascinate Catherine? Still Gothic? Or slasher horror movies? Or perhaps country house murder mysteries?

I imagine Catherine as a young American visiting England for the first time with her head full of haunted castles and twee cottages and landed gentry. She is introduced (how?) to a younger son of some impoverished upper class family which has a huge old house (now open to the public?), and the father mistakenly thinks she is a wealthy heiress.

Any other ideas?
