Reading the Tomalin biography - please read.

Having boldly declared that we would next read the Claire Tomalin biography of Jane Austen, I have discovered that it is still only available in hardback (at least in the US) and that it costs $22 from Bookserve.
I know that is an expensive book for many of us, but I think it would be a fun thing for us to read together.
Given that the read would start, at the earliest, on February 15, is this soon enough for those who don't want to spend the $ to order it at the library, or to get an inter library loan?
Or would you prefer to wait until in comes out in paper back?
I would appreciate your views, but rather than clutter up the board, please email me by clicking on my name above.
Also, for the read after that I am considering two options, and I would like you to vote on these, too.
A. Great Expectations, by Charles Dickens.
There is a movie version of this updating the story to modern New York coming out in January, in the US, and I thought it might be good to have read it so we can understand the parallels better.
B. A Room With A View, by EM Forster
This got lots of votes in my recent request for suggestions. We might be able to combine it with a virt view, if Cheryl agreed.
So please email me on this point too.
Thanks
Kate
