The Tomalin JA biography

Just an interruption in the Northanger Abbey discussion to recommend the new JA bio. Tomalin really brings JA to life, no easy task considering the dearth of information in key areas of her life. The footnotes alone are fascinating. I was reluctant to read the last few chapters, not just because I didn't want the pleasure of the book to end, but also because I knew Jane was going to sicken and die prematurely and I couldn't face it after getting to know her so well.
Don't forget to order it through Bookserve!
P.S. Kate, I've been "away" from Pemberley due to work/holiday/family overload. I got Linda's e-mail and will reply next. My company move takes place at the end of the month. I'll e-mail my new address then.
