In response to The Mists of Avalon?????, written by Emmy on January 11, 1998 at 04:03:51
] This is on the grade twelve reading list that my teacher gave to us at the begining of the year. As I have mentioned way too many times, I don't like my English teacher, and I don't trust her judgment. I thought that I would apeal to the more knowledgeable crowd? Have you read it? what did you think?
I almost put a NFM to the subject, because that's all that really has to be said about this book. Mists of Avalon is a definite read. It's not Jane Austen, but it blew me over nonetheless. Have you ever read a book and felt changed by the experience? That's what Mists of Avalon did to me; I only read it once, six years ago, and I still feel it. I don't know if I'm making much sense - it's certainly too early in the morning for me to be counted in that "more knowledgable crowd" that you seek - but I hope my intentions at least are plain. In short: YES, READ THIS BOOK!
