Are there parallels in Isabella's friendship (I guardedly use that word) with Catherine, and Catherine's friendship with Henry's sister?
They both have an understanding of establising a relationship with the sister to increase contact with the brother.
Overly simplistic, I know (based on the fact readers will like Catherine's honesty and not like Isabella's manipulations) but it intrigued me.
