The real reason why I admire Henry Tilney

A few years ago I 'babysat' a five-month-old Newfoundland Puppy, called George. He was an absolute darling, but was so big, so friendly, so clumsy and so heavy, that all the kids in the neighbourhood were covered in bruises from him! His owner's furniture was wrecked, and she eventually sold him because she realised that she couldn't go on living like that.
The fact that Henry has one, yet has a decent house, retains his sense of humour,and doesn't go mad, is , to me, a sign of a superior being. ;-)
