To explain why I think Henry has passion is going to have to wait until the end so I dodn't spoil it for someone, but I think through most of the book, he cannot show his passion.He's in public, his father is a horrible thunder-cloud hanging over him,and the object of his attention is a naive child with her head in the clouds who might be scared silly if he moves too fast with her.(Don't forget, he isn't telepathic, and he is too realistic to want Catherine to take him for a gothic hero when he knows he cannot live up to it...
