In these discussions there are many of us who have read the novel and/or seen the movie before. Even though we're all only supposed to be discussing as far as Vol II Chap 5, we sometimes support our opinions with dialogue or plot points that occur later in the story. In that case, we try to post a "spoiler" alert, so that we don't "spoil" what's coming for the first-time readers.

Before we started NA, Kate requested that we not jump ahead (and quite rightly so, IMO), so there shouldn't be too many spoilers here!
