You are, as always, completely entitled to your opinion, but I think you may experience some disagreement here.
I happen to adore Darcy, Wentworth, Knightley, and Tilney (notice how JA rfers to him as "Henry", while all her other heroes are adressed by their surnames).
Don't mistake brooding, temper, or jealousy for passion, and don't mistake good humor for the lack of passion. A playful lover is often a considerate, unselfish, and, hence, passionate one, IMHO. So, I wouldn't sell Henry short just yet.....
