I suspect that many of the people posting in this discussion are participating because we do like NA and don't get to discuss it that often. I've said below that NA is to P&P what the Beatles' movie Help is to Hard Day's Night (this is like one of those SAT analogies.)
NA and Help are both very silly and frothy and LOL funny. I think Mark said below that he laughs aloud more at NA than all the other JA books combined, which I have to agree with. P&P and Hard Day's Night are both more based in realism. These two make the critics' top 10 lists, etc. (More serious comedy?? ; )
But I'm one of those people that just enjoys the silliness sometimes. : D
