Ah yes, I was never any good at remembering sensitive romantic poetry either. The things that stuck were more like - "For everyone must now move in a circle, to the prevalence of which rotary motion may perhaps be attributed the giddiness and false steps of many."
Which somehow never melted anybody's heart.
