] My offer for a brief summary stands, as I do think it would help MP readers -- possibly more than the complete text would. I'll try to go about writing it today so I can take the book back to the library. Then if anyone wants to post it, like on the Literary Guide, it'll be ready.

If you wanted to get something ready, I could post it with the MP part of my Literary Companion page.
I happened to see the local JA Society do a reader's theatre version of the play. I would have to agree with HC's assessment of it as being not very great drama, BUT knowing the play adds many layers of meaning to MP and the roles the characters take in Lover's Vows.
