(ie. your friends & relatives)in place of Scrooge's & see what happens. We all know people like many of these characters, & that is what makes it a classic -- besides the fact that it has laughter & tears & scary parts, & the story moves right along. So, it shamelessly works on us to care for Tiny Tim - why not? There are plenty of Tiny Tims in the world & it doesn't hurt to be reminded of that.
