The decision to create new boards at Pemberley is made on the basis of demand.
For example, there was a time when lots of historical and Regency-period questions were being asked on the Ramble board. Because it was felt that the number of questions had reached a volume sufficient to support its own board, the Regency/Jane Austen's Life and Times board was created.
The Library board was created to be the catch-all board at a time when there were only P&P and Emma boards. It was designed to catch the discussions about the other novels and other works by JA, as well as provide a space for our group reads.
Until a critical mass is reached with respect to a topic, a board will not be created for that topic. If people at some time do demonstrate a consistent and sufficient desire to discuss MP or NA, then seperate boards will become a definite possibility.
