] I certainly hope she at least finds the power to support the sister she leaves behind at MP. It gave me the creeps to see the houseboy position turned over to the younger sister. Kinda like when victims of child abuse outgrow their tormenters and the perpetrator turns to the younger sister. It will be better this time around (at least she'll have a fire in her room) and Sir B. is a bit savvier to the doings in his house, but the pug and Mrs. Norris remain.

I beg to differ with you--Mrs. Norris went to live in a different area of England with the ex-Mrs. Maria Rushworth. The sister is of so different a temperament, there are no mean-spirited cousins to contend with, and even Fanny wanted to be back with Lady Bertram--so she can't be all that bad--so I think that things will be much better for her.
