Yes, she does. And I do agree with whoever (Mark?) said that she would need to get to know him a lot better before she might grow to love him and would agree to marry him.

This would have been a mistake. I adore Bingley, but I could see such a couple (strong female, submissive male) turning into the Eltons in the future! She needs a Darcy (and he her). And I sense that the Colonel wouldn't be quite as easily directed as was Bingley.
