(snip) a piece of fiction on the Derbyshire Writers Guild under the name of Jane Anonymous--it is an expanded version of Chapter 24 of Persuasion, and I would be interested in Persuasion-fan reactions, becuase Persuasion is slated to be read for the next St. John's College Alumni Association meeting here in Durham, NC, and I plan to present the re-write to my fellow Johnnies as part of the seminar.

I would also suggest posting something about your piece on the Persuasion board --to make sure devotees don't miss it.
