Thanks everyone for their thoughtful responses to this request! We have enough suggestions to keep us going well into the next Millenium!
As you will have already noticed, we are going to go straight into a Northanger Abbey read after Christmas.
I will develop a plan for the next couple of reads shortly and post it.
I have posted a general statement about how I am going to select the reads above.
If you have any more suggestions for books to read that you simply MUST tell me about, either post a new message, or email me.
