LOL! I totally agree with the casting being perfect. I think Henry and Mary Crawford were perfect because the film was really Fanny's view of the world and she would have found this pair creepy and out of her league. Henry was expecially good at being slimy and self-indulgent.
I was shocked at Lady Bertram's portrayal. I pictured her to be a slug that refused to do anything for herself, preferring to be waited on hand and foot -- not this moronic woman who had to be reminded to breathe in and out...
But I liked Lord Bertram being a fatherly figure to Fanny, especially when we get to see her real father later in the film...
