I read MP a long time ago and recently watched the old BBC version of it and I have to admit that Fanny irritates me. I haven't yet managed to forgive her for not being Elizabeth Bennet, but I also always felt that she was willing to settle for second place with Edmund. Especially in the end of the video version where all of a sudden Edmund says, well Mary was a twit after all, so I guess I'll marry you, Fanny. Ugh!

Also, the actress who played Fanny was very true to character. She was timid and hesitant about everything...kind of a natural version of Prozac I guess...
