I don't know if it's the way they look that bothers me, or the fact that I know what they are really up to and what will come about, so I read more into their actions. I do not at all understand how Maria and Julia could have been so taken with Henry and it's not surprising that Fanny wants nothing to do with him either.

No kidding! That is the most bizarre hair style I've ever seen, with that little patch of curls perched on top of his head and all the rest of his hair straight! It looks like he glued a bad hairpiece on the very top of his head!
