My post stems from a discussion last week on the P&P board on the issue of whether Darcy hid his diffidence behind what others preceived to be his aloofness. My opinion on the matter mirrors yours. :-)

I'm sorry, I guess I did go a little overboard, and I didn't catch the discussion on the other board, which would've explained where that comment came from. That did puzzle me.

Anyway, you have my apologies and I'll read more carefully next time. 8-)
