Poor Bingley. Yes, he is easily persuaded, why shouldn't he be, he has placed himself in Darcy's hands. Is it too much to expect to trust a friend to give you guidance? Remember, Bingley is only 22 or 23 three in this novel, and how many of us were completely sure of our selves at that age?
