One thing - by the later chapters, I thought it was obviously going to be revealed that someone involved would wind up being an unknown Ash relation (and probably descended from THE baby). However, I think I had ruled out Maud, because she already had one, so that wouldn't be fair. ;-)
So - I figured the two most-likely candidates to really stir things up would have been
1)Val (wouldn't poor Roland have squirmed!), or
2)Cropper (I think I would have died!)
Anybody still up for a little bit of silliness?
