This must be - at least - the fifth time I read P&P before but it is the first time I really notice that Caroline Bingley has no chances at all with Darcy. She is like a bee flying near honey. As my copy of P&P is in Spanish I cannot quote, but there are two scenes that really "paint"her:1) Where poor Darcy is trying to write to her sister and she keeps interrupting him. It is a wonder he manages to finish the letter at all.
2) Where Darcy attempts to read and she keeps asking questions about the book and so on.
