This must be - at least - the fifth time I read P&P before but it is the first time I really notice that Caroline Bingley has no chances at all with Darcy. She is like a bee flying near honey. As my copy of P&P is in Spanish I cannot quote, but there are two scenes that really "paint"her:
1) Where poor Darcy is trying to write to her sister and she keeps interrupting him. It is a wonder he manages to finish the letter at all.
2) Where Darcy attempts to read and she keeps asking questions about the book and so on.

She really gets on my nerves!
