I went to an Antiquarian Book Fair this past weekend. Among the treasures available were a 1st edition of Emma for several thousand $'s, a 2nd edition of Sense & Sensibility for about $2,000, and 1st editions of several Bronte works including a copy of The Professor that had been owned by Henry James. It was a mere $8,000. I wanted to cry! To be so close, and yet so far. Anyone want to lend me a few thousand?

I saw the same books at a book fair in Chicago last weekend (November 9th). Unbelievable! I'll keep my Easton Press editions, thanks (even if the antiquarians sneer).
