That's why there are so many different authors. Life would be pretty dull if everyone agreed. But I do find some scenes (esp. the teen (forgot his name) boy's (the one that helps Caroline) views on females, funny. And I find rev. Helstone quite amusing. Maybe my view of the world coinsides more with CB's than JA's. But then, Emily Bronte is quite another matter: "Wuthering Heights" would be the last book I would take on a desert island

LOL! Very well put. But I see CB as more of Sense and Tears. (Though JA is definitely NOT Sensibility and Laughter.
