Where does Fergus go during all of the fermament he causes? The last we hear of him is when he speaks to Cropper. We ae never told if he got a new job, takes a holiday or what.
I think Fergus went to a conference in a lovely hotel near the University of Outer Mongolia. We don't see him later because he decided that no visit to Mongolia would be complete without a yak ride. During this tourist attraction, the wind blows the hat from his head and his golden hair reminds his guides of the wheeler-dealer from London who showed up ten years before and never paid tehm for the breeding pair of yaks he wanted for his private zoo. Despite his protestations, they hold Fergus hostage until 'Daddy' comes up with the cash.
