Hmmm... I agree passion isn't dead, and it is not necessarily a figment of our imagination. I think some people are more passionate than others, and some express passion more easily than others. But I do think although passion can push people around in the ways you describe, it isn't often as uncontrollable as people sometimes make out. I do think we often choose who we love, even subconsciously. Is it time for me to duck???
