As I Love Middlemarch

] I was over at Virtuviews, and asking about Middlemarch. I think that they directed me here but I'm not sure. I'm having a lot of trouble getting through it, and since it's for school, I don't really have much of an option. I think that if I could do it on my own time I'd be okay, but the English department has a thing obout 50 pages of out side reading a week and I'm 150 pages behind. It's actually very humiliating because I'm a year ahead and I supposed to be good at reading and such. I've found chapter 15 very difficult. Has anyone else had these problems? Any words of advice?

If you e-mail me some specifics, I will try to help you. As I don't have a copy of the novel with me, I don't want to fire into the dark. It can be a difficult novel but in the end well worth it.
