Christabel's experiences with Blanche, whatever they were, would impinge on her world view in some way, and significant or not, would help to make up the outlook of the woman who wrote Christabel's poetry.
Not necessarily or at least, not always. We don't always remember things the way they happen. We twist and destort and simply make things up. Experience can be the starting point where imagination takes over.
