She could probably do the accent. I mean, you can't even tell that she isn't American. She's lost her original accent entirely.
I would agree about doing "vulnerable characters." I do wonder how she will be coming off in her newest movie, Gattaca. I think the images I've seen of that movie kind of brought her to mind....and then, she's almost 6 feet tall!!
