In response to To Mapp & Lucia Readers, written by Cassia on October 22, 1997 at 19:45:59

] Since you've all been going on about them for so long I finally decided to have a look round for Mapp & Lucia. What do I find? There are many books. What didn't I find? The order they come in! If someone would tell me teh order of the books by either posting here or by e-mail, I'd be greatful, ever so.

The first Lucia book is Queen Lucia, then Lucia in London. Miss Mapp is a separate novel, before the two meet up (and there are some short stories, generally not with such an in-depth conception of her world). Then, in order come
Mapp and Lucia
Lucia's Progress
Trouble for Lucia

then come a few sequels, written by Tom Holt in the late 80's/early 90's - Lucia in Wartime and another whose name escapes me.

You can start with Mapp and Lucia and work out, or read through in sequence. Do let us fans know what you think! I hope you enjoy them!

A question for Ann: should we have this kind of "I've finally read..." conversation here or the Ramble board? I really don't know.

Thanks,

Helen
