] I would like to make a plea to the powers that be; that we read, "A Christmas Carol", for the upcoming holiday season.
] This has always been my favorite Dicken's work. It has excellent prose. And it is short enough to read in just one long sitting.
] We all have seen countless adaptations of it. Let's read the original. The discussions of the difference between the book and the adaptations should be quite lively.
] What does anybody else think?
