I think that one's own experience has a large influence on one's view of the rights and wrongs of this sort of behaviour - besides there is rarely any absolutely right solution. Interestingly enough, my 'natural' tendency is along the 'say nothing if you can't say something nice' line, and having seen the damage that approach can take I may be over compensating!

Maybe Zoe and I should attempt an average ;-)
