Well, Possession is not a Regency novel. It actually takes place in the late 1980's, and looks backwards towards the Victorian. On this board, in addition to reading Austen, we also read other books that people around here like. Most are similar in tone or interest to Austen. We are just finishing up JE, and are now beginning Possession.
