It has been a while since I have read this book, and I only did it once, but I kept saying to myself "this makes no sense!". It was very aggrivating.



Ann, I suspect that this is why there will never be a "Republic of Thornfield", because there are just too many easily spotted flaws in the plots and characterizations. It wouldn't last two weeks under the extremely critical eyes that are in this place.
