LOL!! I chuckle through these scenes too. Poor ole blind man, is she all there?
] We spoke of humor the other week, and I chuckle all through the conversation when Rochester is quizzing Jane about St. John. "Did you like him? You say he was 50? His brain is soft? He's ugly? He's priggish? (aside) Damn him!" ;-)
