] In the end, the education I received was the key to the rest of my life because, in turn, it enabled me to send my girls to Catholic schools...and they now acknowledge the value and worth of the education and self-discipline it taught them.

And, on the flip side, the experiences that both my husband and I had in our Catholic schooling (MANY of them positive!) are what firms our resolve that our kids take their education in the public school system!
