] Cassia, thanks for your email, and I look forward to this discussion very much. I'm going to have to go out and get myself another copy since mine is in Oz! It's going to be fun to re read it slowly and with coversation...though I still don't know if I'll manage the poetry!


That's why I thought of the Poetry Forum. You can skim through the poetry, then come back to it afterwards. I heard Byatt on a radio interview saying that was what she thought most people would do anyhow and it was fine with her. That being so, feel no guilt and join us.
