] I can't compare them, Barbara. I either don't know or can't picture those two. However, I can not only see but almost feel the grating Steadman would deliver. She's a wince evincer.

Amy -- Juliet Stevenson was Mrs Elton in Emma2 and Harriet Walter was Mrs John (Fanny) Dashwood in S&S2. Both quite horrid in their own way.
