] ] ] By the way, one thing that has always bothered me, how could Jane continue to call Edward "Master"? Just rubs my modern mind the wrong way!!!
] It annoys me. When I first read Jane Eyre, I didn`t find much fault with it, but now I see there are some things that, no matter how much I go over them, always make me angry. And Jane calling Rochester "Master" and keeping him at armīs length when he`s trying to "make love" to her are definitely two of them. Argh. Reason can be cruel.
I don't think I would have enough resolution :-)
