I agree with you. While I love P&P, it does not satisfy my emotions nearly as much as JE.

And I agree that the choice Jane makes is truly terrible. I respect her for it, because she does what is morally right, without being a prude. It is funny how my reactions to this scene changed. When I was in my early teens,I disagreed with her desision,but now that I've reached the mature age of 19 :-). I find myself both respecting her and agreeing with her desision.

I love P&P, but I don't feel the same emotional connection to it as I do to JE. JE is so full of strong feelings.
