] Well, IŽve been reading some parts of Jane Eyre (which IŽve read twice before) and, although I get some images of Sam Morton as Jane (only once in a while), I get a great, clear picture of Timothy DaltonŽs Rochester. For me, heŽll always be THE BEST Rochester, even though Ciaran Hinds was also moving.

I agree! At first I thought he was too handsome, but he defined the role for me. I also thought that, maybe fifteen years ago, he would have been a perfect Darcy!

This seemed apropriate to me. But I did like the actress who played Jane in the TD version better.
