] I was wondering how many first time readers of Jane Eyre were doing this group read with us.
I've never read this book before in my life! I've never seen the movie or anything. In fact, I had no idea what the book was even about. I nearly always failed English in school, and could've cared less about literature. Only in the past couple of years have I begun to appreciate it. Now, I'm the only one among my friends who enjoy it. They just don't know what they're missing.
